How To - Processing Swiped Transactions

If a card is required to be swiped through the device rather than Chip & PIN or Contactless the following process is followed

1. When prompted, swipe the card through the reader on the side of the device.

2. Once the card is swiped, the PED will display "Authorising" followed by "Approved"














3. The guest should sign the merchant copy of the EFT voucher

4. The POS terminal will now display the Signature OK screen, and the POS operator should Accept or Decline the signature








5. An eAccepted Signature returns the following on POS:
